India have a lot of stakes in the ongoing crisis between Russia and Ukraine and it is expected that India might get captured in the flames emanating from this Crisis.  India have huge stakes at play in Russia Ukraine crisis  So, to avoid such a situation, India needs to have its presence ensured at the table in this ongoing dispute and have it's ears active so to sense any risks furthering.  With the advent of tensions rising between Russia and NATO, India cannot count itself out of the situation. On Ladakh visit, PM Modi strongly spoke against China and praised the determination of Indian soldiers to protect their land. PM Modi also referred to the violent clash between soldiers of India and China at Galwan on 15 June and paid his tributes to soldiers who laid down their lives to protect the Borders of India.  In a strongly worded speech, he also told that ' our enemies have got the taste of our fire and fury.' To boost the morale of the Soldiers braving their lives in Ladakh, he mentioned that ' your ( soldiers) courage is higher than the heights where you are posted.'  PM Modi underscored that we always wants peace in the World but we also know to protect ourselves and our Territory. PM Modi, without naming China, said that the era of Expansionism is over and the Expansionist will Fail at all cost. 

China under President Xi Jinping has stepped up its "aggressive" foreign policy toward India and "resisted" efforts to clarify the Line of Actual Control that prevented a lasting peace from being realised, according to a report released by a US Congress appointed commission. The armies of India and China have been locked in a bitter standoff at multiple locations in eastern Ladakh for the last seven weeks, and the tension escalated after 20 Indian soldiers were killed in a violent clash in the Galwan Valley on June 15. This report by US Congress is again a manifestation of the need to Counter China for which India and America joined hands. 

In an unprecedented move, PM Modi reached Ladakh today to meet injured soldiers and monitor the Situation after clash between India and China on 15 June 2020.  The visit came amid heightened tensions between India and China.  Troops from both the Countries are facing each other in Ladakh in an eyeball to eyeball situation.
