AMCA Accelerated

AMCA (Advanced Multirole Combat Aircraft) which is being developed by the ADA (Aeronautical Development Agency) and will be manufactured by HAL and a Private sector company. Two companies have been shortlisted by the HAL for the partnership, which are TATA Aerospace and L&T.

The Government has Accelerated the AMCA after many experts and officials showed concerns over its deadline for mass production in 2036. After Considering all the issues the government and the ADA and DRDO moved the deadline for mass production from 2036 to 2029.

AMCA Mk1 will start mass production till 2029 and the Mk2 will start its mass production in 2036.

India ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ is already behind in the race of 5th generation fighters. Where all its Rivals have deployed some kind of 5th Generation fighters, it was important that India fast track its 5.5 generation aircraft program to not fall back.

Soon IAF will be able to operate its own indigenous 5.5 fighters.

Indigenous Engine
Recently Both India and UK has signed a joint government to government deal. In this Deal UK's Rolls Royce and India's DRDO will partner to build a new engine which can produce a thrust of 110 kN.

The Most important factor in this deal is that India ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ will have the IP (Intellectual Property) rights.

This will help boost the development of more Aircrafts such as TEDBF for Navy and ORCA for IAF.

It is going to boost the Indian Aircraft industry.

This is a good initiative taken by the government of India.
